Photo Principles for Point & Shooters

Objective

A "point n shoot" photo class for digital camera owners who have more buttons on their camera than they currently know how to use.

This course will cover each feature that any class member has in their camera with emphasis on principles of photography which are central to understanding light and optics and choosing photo equipment for a particular task.

Informality and interactivity will characterize the teaching style. This is a photo workshop with priority given to class member need and interest, over lesson plan scheduling.

Software used

This class is not centered around a particular software product.

Requirements

This course requires use of a digital camera and students should have completed Computer Basics and Beyond Basics or have equivalent experience.
