Keep Your Mac Secure

If you use a Mac computer regularly, this is one class you should attend.  Out-of-the-box, Macs are secure computers, but you can take additional steps to protect your privacy and prevent hackers from stealing your passwords, credit card numbers, your identity, and more.  These are steps that all Mac users should take to safeguard their personal data.  This is a hands-on class.  Students will be directed to check settings, ensure their machine is secure and possibly use a password manager and/or VPN (virtual private network) to make their Mac as secure as possible.  Should you run anti-virus software on a Mac?  We will give you tips to let you decide whether it’s worth the cost.  We will also discuss setting up multiple accounts on a Mac, if you share the machine with another person.
