Adventures in Photography: Close-up and Macro Photography
Taking photographs of objects close-up or extremely close-up (macro photography) requires special skills. This class will teach you the difference between the two and the techniques to photograph objects close-up using your camera and lens. The instructors will demonstrate and explain how to use extension tubes with your lens and will discuss how to determine which of the three kinds of macro lenses is best for you. Students need to bring an object to use as their subject for the class, a camera with a fully charged battery, your camera manual, a notepad, and a tripod, if you have one.
